This Ride Begins In Central Phoenix Where The Grand Canal Crosses Glendale Ave Near 16th St.
There Is A Supermarket Including A Supermarket, Retail Stores And Several Restaurants In The Squaw Peak Plaza Which Is Alongside The Canal. The Neighborhood Starts Upper Middle Class And Ends Up In The Toney Biltmore Area.
The Ride Is About 4 Miles Round Trip, The Path Is Paved, Except For The Last 50 Yards. There Are Two Underpasses And One Small Street To Cross.

THE TRAIL RUNS ON EITHER SIDE OF THE CANAL, THIS SIDE IS SLIGHTLY MORE SCENIC
ABOUT A1/2 MILE FROM THE STARTING POINT YOU WILL COME UPON THIS MARKER
AFTER WHICH YOU COME TO AN UNDERPASS BELOW THE 51 FREEWAY
AS THE PATH SURFACES ANOTHER MARKER COMES INTO VIEW
FOLLOW THE PATH FOR ANOTHER 0.3 MILES
TO AN INTERSECTION AT MARYLAND AVE, THERE IS NO UNDERPASS
CROSS THE CANAL AND THE CROSSWALK SINCE THE PATH ON WEST SIDE IS NO LONGER PAVED
FOLLOW THE PATH PAST 'THE FALLS'
AFTER ANOTHER 0.7 MILES YOU WILL REACH 24TH ST
TAKE THE UNDERPASS
AND WHEN YOU SURFACE
THE PATH BECOMES GRAVEL UNTIL YOU REACH THE BRIDGE
CROSS THE BRIDGE
AND YOU REACH THE WRIGLEY MANSION AND THE TURN AROUND SPOT.
THERE ARE TOURS AND A RESTAURANT ON THE GROUNDS OF THE MANSION
